At the beginning of 2010 Exergaming Australia (EGA) partnered with Exergame Fitness USA to further extend our resources and expertise to become Australasia’s dominant Exergaming Turnkey solution provider.
Exergaming Australia (EGA) has worked hard to secure partnerships with the best in fitness/health-technology distribution and manufacturing – Exergame Fitness USA (EF) and Positive Gaming Scandinavia (PG).
EGA is the Peak Body for Exergaming and games for health in Australia and a proud cofounder of the world’s leading not for profit Exergaming advocacy group TEN. Our company truly believes in the efficacy of virtual health and fitness technologies to positively impact our broader communities and is an active contributor in world events through the conferencing schedule of TEN and our own work locally in Tasmania.
We are the Australian experts in this revolutionary health and fitness genre and have one of the most respected global authorities in Exergaming as our CEO, Brett W M Young.
We have a lightweight infrascture which allows us to innovate and implement new solutions rapidly. This is an essential attribute as this genre is lead by the video games, entertainment and technology industries which move at lightning speed.
EGA is equipped to consult, design, supply, deliver, train and support all aspects of our Exergaming solutions and we strive to create successful and long lasting partnerships with our new customers throughout the region. This is a new and exciting genre which requires strong partnerships and robust collaborations.
Our partnership with EF and PG ensures our supply of the most effective Exergaming solutions available. Equally important, EF are the benchmark for Exergaming distribution, sales and support with over 10 years experience and expertise in this fast expanding and challenging marketplace.
Exergaming Australia has been market testing since May 2010. We began our sales initiative after collecting significant revenue generating data in November 2011. Our own XSITE Fitness Centre is a showcase for our spearhead Exergaming solution, the world’s premier machine dance solution, iDANCE2 by Positive Gaming Scandinavia. The YMCA Hobart is a key partner and have customised iDANCE2 to create a YMCA YDance solution which is both a mobile and inhouse delivered activity across all ages groups and abilities.
Exergaming Australia is perfectly positioned to supply best practices solutions for YMCAs, schools, aquatic centres, community and fitness centres throughout Australia. Our strong partnerships sees us enter the electronic health and fitness industry with confidence, a coherent and clear plan (ADP) and with tremendous commitment to deliver key solutions that make a positive difference.
There are exciting times ahead in this genre and Exergaming Australia will lead the sea-change in how we think about and implement sustainable changes in the health and fitness of our diverse Australian communities.

OUR MISSION
Exergaming Australia’s Exergaming solutions will be available through 12 major regions in Australasia by 2015. Our focus for expansion will occur through schools, aquatic & community centres and gyms from Hobart, to Darwin from Perth to Auckland New Zealand.
We will promote and advocate the tremendous health benefits offered by EGA to the wider community. We will provide the most effective and efficient way to benefit the most people in the shortest amount of time with the most reliable and proven solutions available.
Exergaming Australia will extend its actionable Exergaming solutions world wide, beyond 2015, by being a leader in powerful and robust local, national and international networks.

OUR HISTORY
From Europe to Australia
Our origins began in Finland in 2006 with Brett founding, what we believe was the first Exergaming Service Provider in Europe – Exergaming Company Finland. EXG adapted current exergaming products such as Dance Dance Revolution, the Sony Eyetoy, the French made BodyPad system and the Nintendo Wii to enable a mobile solution delivered as an Active After Schools program in the greater Helsinki area.
In 2008, Brett returned to Australia to pioneer Australia’s first & only ‘Exergaming’ company. Exergaming Australia Pty Ltd was fully incorporated in September 2009.
Brett saw the need to reshape and rethink how best to deliver Exergaming solutions in this area of the world and spent two years localising the previous business model to suit the needs of Australians. In that time the Australian Development Plan was created and brought to fruition. The ADP saw us incorporate the world’s premier large group Exergaming solution, the iDANCE2 system from Positive Gaming Scandinavia.
