XSITE LAN PARTY – 4/5TH FEBRUARY

Howdy hardcore gamers. XSITE is hosting it’s first LAN at our new venue this Saturday.

This is a thoroughly organised event. We have an extremely experienced LAN player leading the event, Cody Smith. Cody is the last say in all LAN related issues. Any issues relating to the venue, payments etc then talk with Brett Young.

If you’re sincerely interested in attending, please email brett@exergamingaustralia.com or call Brett on 0418 146 818. Should you wish to be part of the experience but not have a PC, then that’s cool as well, we have a reduced rate for spectators.

Please indicate your level of participation no later than Saturday 4th at 2pm. You can also call round to XSITE to check us out from 11:30 am – 2pm Saturday.

We want all participants to have a brilliant hassle free event, therefore this is an ALCOHOL FREE LAN session! We may visit the Alley Cat or similar around 9pm for some refreshing ‘carbohydrate’ drinks. We’ll have a food run at an agreed upon time. Lock Down is around 11:30pm.

What to bring:

  • Your virus and malware free PC rig
  • Network cable
  • Powerboard
  • Mouse Mat
  • Headphones (do not use your external speakers)
  • Personal snacks
  • Warm clothes
  • Sleeping bag
  • Money for XSITE drinks and our Pub/Food Run.
  • Cushion (we use moulded plastic seats so the cushion is a personal preference)
  • Sense of humour, mutual respect and an open mind.

Our ground floor is a dedicated console gaming area with some cool retro Nintendo games Mario Kart 64 and some modern equivalents. We have our kitchen and bathroom on this level along with our commercial fridge full of high octane drinks at competitive rates!

We also have 10 VERY comfortable beans bags on both levels should players like to grab some well earned shut-eye or just take a break and chill.

We are looking to make this a regular professional venue for keen LANers. Our first session is a bit of a test run, so please be patient should we make some minor screw ups :)

We’d very much like your feedback at the end of the event so we can further improve your LAN experience. Please address your feedback to xsite@exergamingaustralia.com
